Since purchasing First National Gore in 2012, the husband and wife team of Graham and Tara Maxwell, have seen their business grow from strength to strength. From an original team of 5 they currently have 9, including 2 administration staff, a Property Manager and four salespeople. ‘We attribute the team growing as a sign of success but it’s not about getting numbers on seats, we make sure to look for people with specific skills and local knowledge.’
While success is important the Company is committed to providing a positive experience for its clients that went well beyond the sale. ‘We want it to be a life-time experience of repeat business. There is a difference between having a great result with a Company and purely achieving a sale.
First National were competitive with other companies but ultimately strive to achieve an in-house culture with a more supportive team environment. ‘We rely on the whole team to sell a house and we always go the extra mile to try and find customers exactly what they are looking for. We are proud of our team and their calibre.’
The couple are dedicated to continually providing great experiences not just selling houses. In addition to their strong client focus, the Maxwell’s were passionate about giving back to the community and have sponsored many clubs and organisations.
